Guideline4.3
“Your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept”
§ 01What Apple’s wording tells you
Guideline 4.3 - Spam We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept with apps submitted to the App Store. Apps that simply duplicate content or functionality create clutter and make it harder for users to discover new apps.
§ 02Common causes
- Template or white-label source that other developers already submitted.
- Leftover bundle IDs, URL schemes, or Firebase files from an older project.
- Generic screenshots, icon, or description.
- A crowded concept with no visible difference in the first session.
- A false positive on an original app.
§ 03What to inspect in your project
- Read which noun Apple emphasized: binary, metadata, or concept
- Account history, including deleted apps
- Identifiers and third-party config
- Store listing vs. in-app chrome

Hello App Review, We received the 4.3 note about a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept. This is a single original product: [one sentence]. We audited identifiers, store metadata, and source origin. [Two lines on what we found or cleaned.] If you are matching a specific other submission, please tell us which one. Thank you.
§ 05Should you appeal?
Not yet. Walk similar-binary, no-duplicate-apps, or false-positive first. Appeal after a factual reply is ignored.
